Today during lunch a group of sophomore boys were having a food fight and they threw a piece of apple at my friend’s backpack. I picked it up and said, “I think you dropped this”, and then I gave it back to them.
I feel so strange right now. It was one of those spontaneous things that I should have thought through.

It’s easy to enjoy the things around you. Use your eyes…The color of the walls, people when they’re frozen mid-action, the negative space between objects. All the mundane things become lovely, all it takes is a new perspective. Look at the world like you would admire a photograph.
